Ristiina (Kristina in Swedish) is a municipality of Finland. The town was founded in 1649 and it was named after Kristina Stenbock, the wife of Governor General and Count Per Brahe.
It is located in the province of Eastern Finland and is part of the Southern Savonia region. The municipality has a population of 5,111 (2003) and covers an area of 742.11 km² of which 168.47 km² is water. The population density is 8.9 inhabitants per km².
The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
