Albion Township is a township in Wright County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 1,146 at the 2000 census.

Geography


According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 91.9 km² (35.5 mi²). 84.1 km² (32.5 mi²) of it is land and 7.7 km² (3.0 mi²) of it (8.37%) is water.

Demographics


As of the census2 of 2000, there were 1,146 people, 398 households, and 319 families residing in the township. The population density was 13.6/km² (35.3/mi²). There were 461 housing units at an average density of 5.5/km² (14.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the township was 99.21% White, 0.17% Native American, 0.17% Asian, 0.09% from other races, and 0.35% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.70% of the population.
