Saddle Brook is a township in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As of the United States 2000 Census, the township population was 13,155.
Saddle Brook adopted its current name in November 1955, changing it from Saddle River Township. Saddle River Township was created in March of 1716, and consisted of all of the territory in Bergen County west of the Saddle River. This makes it one of the oldest municipalities in Bergen County.
Saddle Brook is intersected by the Garden State Parkway (exit 159), Interstate 80 (exit 62), and U.S. Route 46. In addition, Route 4 and Route 17 are within a quarter mile of its border.
