Medway is an unincorporated census-designated place located in Clark County, Ohio. Near are the adjoining communities of Crystal Lakes and Park Layne. As of the 2000 census, the community had a total population of 4,110. Medway lies within the Tecumseh Local School district, the high school mascot is the Arrows. Medway Elementary is the primary center of education, the elementary school serves grades k-5.
Medway, named for being the midway point between Springfield and Dayton, was primarily settled by a wave of Mennonite immigrants who arrived in 1842.
Although blacksmiths, butchers, seamstresses and undertakers are long gone, the quaint Medway downtown area still houses small businesses.
