Mangaweka is a township on State Highway One, on the North Island of New Zealand. Population 180. Location between Taihape to the North, and Hunterville to the South on State Highway One.

The township is interesting not only for the Historic Main Street, but also because of its seemingly growing artists community. The historic main street of Mangaweka is preserved in its original state due to the main highway and railway being completely re-directed in the early 1980s. At the time this tore the heart out of the township, as the main street became redundant, but this in a strange twist of fate is what makes the township of Mangaweka a tourist attraction in the present day, with many people stopping to take photographs and visit the art galleries. Another major feature close to the town is one of the country's biggest railway viaducts.
